We know how easy it is to go overboard with sweet treats this time of year, and how busy our calendars can get, so we developed a recipe that will not only satisfy your sweet tooth, but will also give you an energy boost to power you through your holiday to-do list.

Introducing our delicious, no-bake Gingerbread Cranberry Protein Balls. These little bites of goodness are bursting with ginger and cinnamon flavor. Paired with the tart sweetness of cranberries and maple syrup, this recipe screams “the Holidays are here!”. But the added bonus is the almond floor and nut butter which packs a heavy protein punch in every mouth-watering bite.

Although we’d like to keep all of these protein balls for ourselves, they are super kid-friendly, so you may want to double the recipe so your kids can join in on the yumminess. Our kids couldn’t keep their hands off them, and it’s an easy, no-bake recipe that you can make together.

No-Bake Gingerbread Cranberry Protein Balls

This easy protein ball recipe requires no baking, is bursting with ginger and cinnamon flavor, and will give you and your kids the energy to get through the holiday craziness!
Course Breakfast, Snack

Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup walnuts chopped
  • ½ cup nut butter
  • ¼ cup maple syrup
  • 1 ¼ cup almond flour
  • 1 tsp ginger
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ½ cup craisins chopped

Instructions
 

  • Combine all ingredients in a large bowl. Mix until well incorporated.
  • Scoop out approximately 18 balls with a small ice cream scooper. Roll balls between your hands for even sizing.
  • Place balls on a plate or cookie sheet and freeze for 10 minutes before serving (if eating immediately). Otherwise, place in an airtight container and store in the freezer. Thaw for 5 minutes before serving.
